The full moon fest will begin on Friday at 6:00PM with a “Rally in Mural Alley” between 5th & 6th Streets featuring Sul Ross Art Club students under the direction of Carol Fairley at work creating a WPA style mural, along with others in the process of creation. Music will be provided by The Swifts. At 7:00 will be a 6th Street corner serenade by Mariachi Santa Cruz, while adjoining Catchlight Galleries and Gallery on the Square hold special art receptions for the occasion. At 8:00, a performance by the Alpine Jazz Quintet at the Holland Hotel Patio. At 10:30, Anthony Ray Wright returns to Alpine at the Railroad Blues with his vintage rockabilly and country sound, joined by The Doodlin’ Hogwallops until 2:00 AM. On Saturday the 14th, The Ritchey Wine Saloon & Beer Garden hosts “ALP loves ELP”, featuring an afternoon and evening of live music starting at 5:30 PM featuring Dennis Decrenet, The Swifts, Rubber Revolver, and Mariachi Santa Cruz. The public is invited to enjoy a great day for a good cause. All proceeds will go to the El Paso Victims Relief Fund.
